Nursing Mission Statement

The vision of the nursing division of the health department is healthy people living in a healthy community.  Our mission is to promote good physical and mental health as well as educating Johnson County residents on prevention of disease, injury, and disability.

How much do children's immunizations cost?

Immunizations to all Johnson County children are free

Immunizations are by appointment only.

When do we give TB tests?
TB skin tests are given on a walk-in basis on Mondays, from 9 am to 3 pm, and must be read on Wednesdays from 9 am to 3 pm.  At that time, we will give documentation of the dates placed & read and the result.  The office is closed for all government holidays.  These cost $5.00, payable by cash, money order, or master or visa card.
